Getting started

Pulse Guide

Pulse helps you record income and expenses, review your balance, follow spending patterns, and keep personal financial records organized.

1

Introduction

Use Pulse as a daily personal ledger for income, expenses, balances, spending patterns, and organized financial history.

2

Add Transactions

Use Add Transaction to enter income or expenses with amount, date, category, and an optional description. Recurring transactions can include frequency and end date. Voice input may draft a transaction, which you should review before saving.

3

Categories

Choose categories for clearer records. Expense and income categories are organized into major categories and subcategories. You can customize names and restore defaults from category settings.

4

Budget Tracking

Use the dashboard to check current balance, monthly expense distribution, and cash flow forecast. In the transaction list, review income, expenses, and period net for the selected time range.

5

Reports & Statistics

Open Analysis Report to view expense distribution, yearly income and expense comparison, and income or expense trends. Filter reports by time window and export them as a PDF.

6

Search & Filters

Use the transaction list to view this month, a specific date, or a custom range. Switch between all transactions, expense analysis, and income analysis to review records by type and category group.

7

Data Backup

Your records are stored locally on your device. You can export transactions as CSV files and import CSV history when needed. Built-in iCloud sync or restore is not currently provided inside the app.

8

Privacy

Your financial data belongs to you. Pulse does not collect, track, sell, or share your personal financial records. Optional purchases are handled by Apple.
